One of the first songs I wrote after my travels in Europe during the start of the quarantine. It is sort of a reminder to myself to keep going no matterthe state that I am in, because all things do pass.

I took a train to the city
mountains turned into grains of sand

Sometimes I feel the ocean pull me out
Sometimes I feel stranded in all of my doubts
Sometimes I feel like Im racing and leading the pack
Other times i feel like im drowning and I dont know how to get back up

And ive been drinking days and nights so lonely
And Ive been thinking about you though i dont want to anymore
And Ive been running ive been fucking running away from what matters most
